Southwold Beach

Southwold beach is always a beautiful and happy place to spend time.

The promenade runs from Southwold Pier to the base of Gun Hill to the south, lined with brightly coloured and imaginatively-named beach huts. The southern end of Southwold beach is wilder, with sand dunes and marram grass separating the beach from Ferry Road.

If you’re keen on a wild swim, ask the reception team for tide times and join the local daily swimmers. If you prefer to be on the water rather than in it, then don’t miss a trip on the Coastal Voyager for a power blast or serene river tour.
